Professional Background & Qualifications

I am a CORU-registered and ASHA-certified Senior Speech and Language Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting children and families. I completed both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders, graduating summa cum laude from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.

I also hold the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) — a credential that reflects advanced clinical training, a structured clinical fellowship, and ongoing professional development. Combined with my CORU registration, this dual qualification reflects my commitment to high international standards of care and continuous learning.

I spent many years in the United States working exclusively in early intervention, supporting toddlers and preschoolers through play-based, family-centred therapy. This focused experience shaped my strong belief that early relationships, responsive interactions, and everyday routines are the foundation of communication.

Trained in the United States and registered to practise in both Ireland and the U.S., I bring specialised experience across early intervention, school settings, and community-based support. My dual registration reflects my commitment to providing therapy that is respectful, collaborative, and child-led.

My Therapy Approach

My approach blends professional expertise with warmth, creativity, and a deep respect for each child’s communication style. Sessions are strengths-based and shaped by each child’s interests, preferences, and ways of engaging with the world.

Children communicate in many forms, and I welcome them all. Whether a child expresses themselves through speech, gestures, signs, pictures, or AAC, I focus on fostering meaningful connection, confidence, and communication that feels natural and authentic to them.

With a strong background in early intervention, I have extensive experience supporting toddlers and preschoolers as they build foundational communication skills through play, connection, and everyday routines.

I support children in:

  • speech sound development

  • early language and play-based communication

  • social communication and interaction

  • feeding and oral motor skills

  • AAC use and multimodal communication

  • foundational communication development for toddlers and preschoolers (early intervention)

I work closely with families so strategies can continue naturally at home, helping communication grow in everyday moments.

Supporting Families

I understand how challenging long waiting lists and limited one-to-one support can be. Through Aspect Speech Therapy, my goal is to offer timely, responsive care so children can access the support they need without unnecessary delays — and so families feel informed, reassured, and empowered throughout the process.

Working in Ireland

Since relocating to Ireland with my family in 2023, I’ve continued my work through Aspect Speech Therapy and within a non-profit organisation supporting children with developmental and communication needs. This community-based work has strengthened my commitment to making therapy meaningful, accessible, and respectful for every child and family.

My Story

After more than a decade of supporting children and families across the United States and Ireland, I founded Aspect Speech Therapy to create a service where families feel truly heard and children are supported in ways that honour who they are.

I now live in South Dublin with my husband and two children, and I’m passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where children can explore communication at their own pace. I believe deeply in play, connection, and the joy that comes from feeling understood — values that guide every session.

Outside of work, I love exploring Ireland’s beaches and countryside with my family — moments that remind me of the importance of communication, connection, and play in everyday life.

If you feel my approach might be a good fit for your child, I’d be happy to chat.
There’s no pressure — just a warm conversation about what might support your family best.
